Modern sustainable luxury inspired by the native plant fibers and ancient handcrafted traditions of Yucatán, México.
Angela Damman conceived this chandelier design in spring of 2021. Spring time is the season for “Eta” meteor showers from Halley’s comet. When comets come around the sun, they leave a trail of particles. When the earth passes through these debris trails, they collide with our atmosphere producing fiery meteors radiating from white to red. The first Eta was made with a reddish natural dye color from the bark of the tzalam tree (a local tropical hardwood of Yucatan).
