We had the the great fortune to be invited to Mila We had the the great fortune to be invited to Milan Design Week by Thomas Cooper Studio to participate in MoscaPartner’s ‘Variations’ show at the Palazzo Litta, during Salone de Mobile 2025.

The “Four on the Floor” exhibition features a curated selection of four bespoke torchieres showcasing the diverse possibilities of materials, form and function. Our “From the Underworld” piece is second in our new series that is intended to amplify the beauty of the sansevieria plant fibers. The first “From the Underworld” series was a chandelier introduced at @factoriadenada during Mexico Art Week in February.

Thank you Thomas and Sally for this very special invitation, and to Nadia Guitteau from @alratitostudio for the collaboration opportunity.

We are so happy to be listed in this month’s Archi We are so happy to be listed in this month’s Architectural Digest issue on “Creative manifestations that celebrates and honors Mother Earth” ❤️ Mil gracias @admexico

Presented at Mexico Art Week, the Subatomic chair uses sanseviera and agave grown in the Yucatán-based designer’s studio. The fibers were hand-dyed, as was the work on the cushion, which combines the same fibers with silk and linen threads. It was conceived as a piece for meditation, introspection, and sharing (hence the wide seat). It follows Damman’s sustainable luxury approach, based on the fibers of native plants and the manual traditions of Yucatán.

The Subatomic Chair can be seen through May at:

The Subatomic Chair was conceived from meditation, for meditation, introspection, observation, relaxation, and sharing (it bares an extra wide seat).
